Russian Siberian cats are truly an amazing breed of cat. As a family who has learned much over the years, we are
committed to helping to protect the lineages of Traditional Russian Siberians. Our cats come from some of these lines and with help from a very knowledgeable Russian breeder/mentor we know we are helping to preserve their lineage.
We reserve the right to retain any kitten for Traditional breeders or for our own breeding.
For that reason, we do NOT cross-breed our cats with Colorpoint cats (ie: Siamese cat) for Neva/NEM kittens so we will never have white kittens with blue eyes.
Many people do not realize that there is a difference in these 2 breeds but it's very important to know that these are 2 different cats.
The Siamese cat/color point cats are not hypo-allergenic nor are they native to Russia. They are beautiful cats, but we are very proud to be a part of helping to preserve the native, gene pools of the Traditional Russian Siberian. I get asked this question a lot so I like to clarify the difference. Here is a good link explaining the difference between Traditional Russian Siberians and Neva/NEM:

There is SO much interesting information and even fairytales/folklore about this old, sweet breed online. I encourage you to take time to do your research! It's my desire to share them with you and your family.
