We are an active family of 6 that LOVE animals. We have (4) children that all have their own idea of what animals we should have. We live in Pfafftown, NC (right outside of Winston-Salem) with our Siberian Cats and Saint Ber-doodle. When our daughter started begging to have a cat we knew we had to do some major research as my husband and oldest daughter are highly allergic to them. They both have asthmatic reactions and my husband can walk into a room and tell you if a cat has been there due to itchy/watery eyes and tightening chest. Our research led us to adopting our first Siberian kitten. Neither my husband or daughter had any allergic reactions to her! It was the most amazing thing and we have fallen in love with the Siberian breed. When we discovered our kitten had a specific type of marking that gave her a darker face and gradient grey to black coat (called Black Smoke) we contacted her breeder to inquire about breeding her. We learned that this was a VERY involved process and too much for us at the time so we ended up going a different route and had her fixed. However, a seed was planted. When we were later given the opportunity to adopt Bella, Nstasia and Max, we jumped at the chance to adopt them into our family. We allow them to mate whenever they feel led to as well as take their own mating breaks. We are not a large breeder, but rather just a family who loves our Siberians, first as part of our family, and next in being able to share the experience of loving a Siberian (allergy free) with others. We feel extremely blessed to be a part of preserving the Traditional bloodlines of this incredible breed while also sharing their joy and love with others!
